In preparation for designing the main title for MasterClass's course featuring Futura, I delved into the artist’s love for Stanley Kubrick, particularly the film "2001: A Space Odyssey." Inspired by this connection, I aimed to seamlessly blend Futura’s distinctive style with the iconic visual elements of Kubrick’s work. The resulting design captures the geometric precision and futuristic aesthetics reminiscent of "2001," while also incorporating Futura’s unique abstract and expressive elements. This fusion creates a visually compelling introduction that pays homage to both the artist and the cinematic masterpiece, setting the tone for an engaging and insightful course.
