When Microsoft approached us with the Alta project, the tight turnaround time necessitated a fully 2D approach. Utilizing After Effects, I created the illusion of depth with simulated glass panes and soft shadows. This technique allowed us to achieve a 2D aesthetic while imparting a 3D feel to Alta, delivering a visually compelling and efficient solution within the constraints.
